My name is Chiara Bertolin, and I was born in Marostica. I have always nurtured a passion for drawing and painting. I create still lifes in which everyday objects, toys, fruit, and flowers come together, revealing unexpected harmonies and correspondences between seemingly disparate elements. Other compositions develop as micro-ecosystems, where objects and nature engage in a dialogue across luminous and deep landscapes. I mainly paint oil paintings, a technique that allows to obtain a high level of precision and to explore the subject in detail, approaching hyperrealism. I have exhibited at the Contemporary Art Talent Show during various editions of Arte Padova, Pordenone Antiquaria, the VI Biennial of Contemporary Engraving and Graphics – Civic Museums of Bassano del Grappa, the 2020 Review of Contemporary Art at the Lower Castle of Marostica, and in several group exhibitions in the local area.
